Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making substantial paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
